They are loud, messy, sleepy, and vulnerable and you know who\u2019s job it is to take care of all those things? You! Bentley, a four-week-old baby, had recently woken up and his parents decided they wanted some quality baby footage of him. We can\u2019t blame them, he\u2019s adorable! They didn\u2019t expect to capture something amazing on camera, however.<\/p>\n
As they film him, his mom starts to make baby noises.<\/p>\n
No matter your age, making baby noises and doing \u201cbaby talk\u201d is an essential part of the process. Bentley\u2019s mom starts to do just that and the reaction from the baby is amazing!<\/p>\n

While she is making noises, Bentley mews and then mimics the exact tone of her voice with his!<\/p>\n

When should babies start talking?<\/p>\n
Was baby Bentley talking? Probably not \u2013 but it sure sounded like he knew what he was doing! WebMD explains what happens at the earliest talking milestone, 3-months:<\/p>\n
At 3 months, your baby listens to your voice, watches your face as you talk, and turns toward other voices, sounds, and music that can be heard around the home. Many infants prefer a woman\u2019s voice over a man\u2019s. Many also prefer voices and music they heard while they were still in the womb. By the end of three months, babies begin \u201ccooing\u201d \u2014 a happy, gentle, repetitive, sing-song vocalization<\/p>\n

By the time your baby is age 3, their vocabulary expands rapidly, and \u201cmake-believe\u201d play spurs an understanding of symbolic and abstract language like \u201cnow,\u201d feelings like \u201csad,\u201d and spatial concepts like \u201cin.\u201d<\/p>\n
The crazy thing is that Bentley is now 6-years-old! It\u2019s funny to think about in theory, but BOY do our kids grow up so fast.<\/p>\n
